Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum data needed to run Skyclip:

• Account data: email address, and if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.
• Project data: prompts, scripts, generated audio, images, and videos you create.
• Usage data: logs of API calls, error reports, and basic analytics (page views, feature usage).
• Payment data: handled by our payment processor; we never store full card numbers.

• Operate and improve the Skyclip service.
• Generate videos on your behalf using third-party AI providers.
• Communicate service updates, security notices, and (with consent) product news.
• Detect abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.

Skyclip is built on a modern cloud stack. We share the minimum data required with these providers:

• Cloud hosting & database — Supabase (managed Postgres, auth, storage).
• Edge hosting — Cloudflare / Lovable (static hosting and serverless compute).
• AI providers — Google (Gemini), OpenAI, and other LLM/TTS/image providers for content generation.
• Payments — Stripe (planned) for subscription billing.

• All traffic to skyclip.app is encrypted in transit via TLS.
• Passwords are never stored in plain text; authentication is handled by our identity provider.
• Row-Level Security (RLS) isolates each account's project data at the database layer.
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorized team members.

You can access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing privacy@skyclip.app. If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We retain account and project data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, project data is deleted within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain records (e.g. billing).

Skyclip is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
